Oxymatrine is a kind of alkaloids from Sophora japonica (kushen,Sophora flavescens Ait.;Common Name: Lighiyellow Sophora Root,) ;and the main plant origin is Sophora japonica (kushen), also available from other plant origin such as Sophora subprostrata (shandougen),top parts of Sophora alopecuroides, and Radix Sophorae Subprostrata root (GuangDouGen).
